Sasha Gill is a Principal at Louison, Costello, Condon & Pfaff, LLP, where her practice is focused largely in the areas of labor and employment, education and municipal, and civil rights law. Sasha represents municipal and government employers and employees, including police and fire departments and school committees, in a broad range of areas, including employment disputes and civil rights litigation before the courts of the Commonwealth, as well as in a wide variety of administrative proceedings before various agencies, including the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination (MCAD) and the Bureau of Special Education Appeals (BSEA).
Sasha's understanding of her clients' needs and her ability to advocate strongly for them have resulted in the award of jury verdicts and settlements in the tens of millions of dollars on the plaintiffs' side, and in the swift dismissal and resolution of actions on the side of the defense. Her professional approach to working in adversarial settings on highly-charged, emotional issues has earned her credibility on both sides of the bar.
Sasha represented the United States government in a wrongful death action arising out of the handling of top-echelon FBI informants in the Boston mob run by James “Whitey” Bulger; this matter was ultimately dismissed by the United States First Circuit Court of Appeals. Most recently, Sasha obtained a $1,000,000 settlement involving a woman who suffered brain damage following a stroke, and negotiated a $500,000 settlement on behalf of her clients in a SIDS-related wrongful death claim.
Distinguished as a Top-Rated Civil Litigation Attorney in 2020 by Super Lawyers, she is also a four-time recipient of their Rising Star designation.
