Boston Labor Law Attorney
At Louison, Costello, Condon & Pfaff, LLP in Boston, we represent public employee unions in all phases of collective bargaining and civil litigation. Our attorneys protect unions and union members, defending rights guaranteed in labor contracts, litigating disputes involving breaches of labor contracts and violations of state labor law by employers, and protecting the right of union members and stewards under the First Amendment guarantee of freedom of speech.
Our labor law services include negotiation of labor contracts, advising our clients on the interpretation of specific language in labor contracts, representing unions at the American Arbitration Association, representing clients at the Division of Labor Relations, and providing training for union stewards.
A large share of our labor law practice centers on our work on behalf of law enforcement and corrections officer unions. Our work on behalf of unions is complemented by disciplinary defense representation for individual employees.
If you would like to speak with one of our lawyers about labor law representation or if you have any other questions, please contact our law firm’s Boston office. Our practice serves the entire state of Massachusetts.
Additional legal services for public employees
As a service to police and other public employees, we have established the Baystate Legal Defense Fund. Our lawyers, for no fee other than the membership fee, defend members of Baystate against civil claims and criminal charges arising from the members’ execution of their duties. We also provide Baystate members and their families with reduced-fee representation in a range of personal legal matters.
